The TeamWorks Cooperative Network is an informal alliance of several related projects. There is no formal umbrella organization. The Network consists of:
- A well-established worker-owned cooperative, TeamWorks Cleaning. About 19 women earn their primary livelihood through their work in the cooperative. The cooperative is organized as a Limited Liability Company that it governed by its worker-owners.
- The TeamWorks Development Institute, a nonprofit organization that serves as innovation hub to accelerate the growth of worker-owned cooperatives in the house cleaning industry. Visit the TeamWorks Development Institute’s website.
- TeamWorks Capital Fund, which provides long-term “equity-like” finance for cooperatives. It is managed by Opportunity Fund a nonprofit community development finance institution (CDFI). The TeamWorks Capital Fund is fully invested at this time and will not be making new investments in the near future.
